The moon and the sun are the earth’s neighbors. But do you know that they have a story to tell? It’s a story about sacrifice and everlasting love.
A long time ago, The Universe created The Sun to sustain life on The World. The Sun’s name was Apollo. For a long period of time, Apollo sustained life in our world for it brings light and heat. But one day, Apollo felt the feeling of loneliness. Apollo was a ball of scourging hot fire but yet inside of him was cold as a frozen wasteland.
One day, Apollo saw a falling object in the sky. It was covered with golden dust and fire. The world caught it and hugged it tight. Her face was full of imperfections but she was beautiful. Our world called her Luna for the name matches her. When the world caught Luna in its arms, Luna was scared. Sadness covered the moon’s heart for Luna’s heart was full of insecurities.
Apollo pulled the world closer to him to see Luna. When he leaned towards her, he didn’t see nothing but beauty. He can’t describe her with words anything but perfect. Luna hid into the darkness but Apollo beamed its light to her. Luna shined as the Sun did. When the world saw her, wolves screamed into the grassy fields and the ocean moved into waves. For her beauty is different from the heat of the sun. Her beauty was divine.
Apollo was falling in love with her. As days go by, he let her shine into the west while he shines into the east. The world saw their love as day and night were created. Their love moved the world into new heights.
As the time goes by, Apollo and Luna tried to be together. But when they do, there was chaos. They can’t be together for they will destroy the world and its inhabitants. They can’t be together for their love is unbalanced. They will kill each other and they will kill the world.
Apollo and Luna sacrificed their own love for the world. But they are still inlove but they can’t be together. But once a while, they cross each other for a kiss as the world stares at the couple and call it an eclipse.
